I am a machine learning software engineer, with 5 years of experience delivering highly scalable, fault tolerant and reliant user-facing ML systems.Currently, I am (i) designing and building production Generative AI systems using varieties of AWS Services, including but not limited to, Open search service, Bedrock, ECR, ECS task, and Lambda, and (ii) leading the design and development of end (PDF document/structured table data) to end (feature/vector stores) pipelines that power different downstream ML use cases.I am also PhDing machine and deep learning models for automated detection of security vulnerabilities in software programs at North Dakota State University.I am building this space - https://semiu.github.io/- to write about everything and anything that tickles my fancy.When I am not writing code, I either mix recipes in the kitchen or change sets in the gym.
