Screen district media sources and interact with constituents to advise the Congressman and the District Director on all activities in assigned issue areas.• Evaluate/refer cases and assess casework issues requiring legislative action using Leidos Digital Solutions and Microsoft Office. Offer recommendations to the District Director and Chief of Staff/Administrative Assistant.• Manage all matters for the Congressman involving the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Department of Labor, Department of Treasury, Internal Revenue Service, Social Security Administration, Small Business Administration, and Department of Education.• Employ a comprehensive knowledge of the Legislative process, House protocols, and administrative functions of various Local, State, and Federal agencies.• Draft and distribute reports for the District Director regarding pending cases and district activities. • Attend community, non-profit, and local city government committee meetings throughout the District.• Photographed events, thought leaders, high-profile individuals, meetings, and Congressional colleagues to promote the activities of the Congressman.• Offered personalized casework assistance, resolved issues involving Federal agencies and programs, and efficiently tracked and documented 100+ phone conversations daily using Intranet Quorum.
