Order to Cash - Supply Chain Transformation Director @Pearson

Leading the strategic transformation of Pearson’s supply chain processes. • Continuously benchmarking internal processes against best practices to determine gaps, opportunities for improvement. • Translates process strategy into process value drivers, process diagnostics, workflow and process maps, service objectives, with clear links to business performance uplift. • Champions process excellence and financial value management principles. • Drives the delivery of multiple, often parallel improvement projects across a number of complex, varied and evolving business models. • Influences, collaborates, and advocates the strategic process agenda across a wide network of stakeholders both at a junior, peer, senior, and business wide. • Accountable for the successful delivery of transformation lying within global teams e.g, Divisional operations team around the world and Technology teams. • Enables competitive advantage by leveraging shared processes and shared capabilities to unlock value supported by data and experience. • Support the creation of business policies/guidelines, KPIs and process standards. • Provide comparable and new ways of working. • Ensures that operational teams are meeting expected outcomes and creates process performance uplift, adheres to the standards and understands any significant process variations with relevant controls. • Reviews and owns the training materials and relevant knowledge management as well, stewarding the supply chain strategy and improvement plans. • Ensures alignment of process improvement initiatives with business strategy making sure that all major programmes of work deliver against Pearson’s strategic objectives.
