About Selina Luong

As a Sr. Supply Chain Manager at Amazon, I execute the capacity strategy to meet truck load demand for Amazon\'s Middle Mile Transportation Network. I analyze and determine capacity concerns for Amazon\'s North America network, and work closely with other teams to determine an ideal rate structure that maximizes utilization while lowering cost to secure capacity. I also handle carrier-facing office hour sessions to train new carriers on how to book loads and contracts on the Amazon Relay platform, as well as educate carriers on new features and work types. In my past experiences, I collaborated with cross-functionally other teams to launch sort center buildings across Amazon\'s North America Sort Center (NASC) network, ensuring operational excellence and efficiency. I supported and trained the launch Operations team, guided them through the launch process, and troubleshot any issues that arose. During my time in NASC Operations, I led projects to improve the daily operations of the sort centers, managed a large group of over 100 associates, and learned about the operational aspects of running a business. I enjoy working on challenging and impactful initiatives that enhance the customer experience and the company\'s growth. I also pursue my passions outside of work, such as running my small business, Seluna, doing photography and videography, and spending time outdoors.
