About Selina Haroon

My passion for written and visual storytelling started at a very young age, stemming from my love for literature, film, and the arts. This led to my strong interest in entertainment alongside my personal aspirations to work in a creative industry that values authentic and dynamic storytelling across varying genres, mediums, and creative platforms. In addition to that, I’m also highly interested in pursuing a career within the intersection of publicity and corporate communications. As a previous creative/development intern at various film production companies, I have been able to deepen my knowledge of the inner workings of the entertainment industry alongside film representation and development. Some of my previous responsibilities included researching current projects in development and working to gain an understanding of how projects are evaluated based on the company’s individual background and goals. Additionally, as a previous communications writer for my alma mater, I also have professional experience in communications and content writing while working within internal/external communications for a larger organization.
