ABOUT SARAH GILLIS
Growing up in a family of artists and musicians, I can’t say I grew up dreaming of being an engineer (or even knowing what engineering was). Rather, I fell into it when I discovered there was a profession entirely dedicated to creative problem solving, and have been hooked ever since. It turns out that if you follow your curiosity, you never know where it will lead. Although I was raised in Colorado, I’m coining the term \"Colorado not-Native,\" as I didn’t arrive until I was three months old, and will forever be disappointed that I can’t claim being a Colorado Native. I love all types of outdoor adventures, whether biking, climbing, or hiking, and one of my favorite things is a cup of hot coffee while camping in the wilderness.
