Hello! I have a PhD in Psychology, along with 5 years of experience in industry sectors. My research experience covers a wide array of topics such as virtual reality, education, social media, healthcare technology, interpersonal relationships, dating, and more - but at the heart of it all is a passion for research and understanding human behavior.My unique blend of expertise in psychology, advanced statistical knowledge, and creative research design positions me well to contribute to research focused on understanding why people do the things they do. I am a natural collaborator, curious at my core, optimistic, and thrive in the face of change.I\'m a stats nerd (I actually used to tutor algebra, pre-calc, and stats way back when!) and am always taking courses on DataCamp, googling new analytic methods, or brushing up on older models I haven\'t used in a while. I also have experience with qualitative research, including structured interviews, thematic analysis, and coding of multimodal data (smartphone screenshots + written descriptions). I love to learn, and finding gaps in my knowledge excites me as it allows me to add more tools to my toolkit.Lastly, my research philosophy is simple - fit the research to the goals. Yes, you can create a complex design requiring advanced statistics if that is necessary. However, simplicity can also be gold! I am passionate about discovering the perfect ingredients to get a winning research recipe.
