I have been an Infra leader building hyper scale distributed systems for the past 10 years, particularly focused on hyper clouds that host hyper scalars. Currently working on modernizing Uber infrastructure to a multi-cloud infrastructure over OCI, GCP & onPerm. Prior to Uber: Azure Foundational Infrastructure: Leading an engineering team to build Microsoft’s next generation BareMetal IaaS & PaaS ecosystem for all major services of Microsoft (Azure Compute, Store, Bing, Exchange). I work on redefining, scaling, and converging on one approach to building global distributed services onto a common BareMetal technology stack which provides Silicon diversity, Hardware acceleration, Ultra low latency compute, Blade HW/OS/BIOS goal state, HW lifecycle management & application programing model for enabling every major team and service at Microsoft.
