I am a leader, software architect / engineer, and agile enthusiast with 12+ years of experience. I have an extensive knowledge of web, desktop and mobile application development.In my current role I am the lead developer and architect. My primary focus is on our back-end web platform. I lead and mentor all of the members of the team. I am an avid agile practitioner and evangelist, championing Alliance Tech\'s transition from a broken waterfall methodology to successfully practicing agile and scrum.I have the ability to see the big picture but also apply day-to-day activities to help obtain our long-term goals. I pride myself on the ability to work with both engineering and business stakeholders. I enjoy working on a team as well as working independently. I also love to teach and mentor.While most of my experience is with the java language, I am eager and adept at learning new skills. Most recently, I have self enabled myself on scalable web architecture design and cloud technologies. I have spent the last year learning how to build and deploy applications that can take full advantage of Amazon AWS.I am always open to new opportunities and can be reached through this profile.
