    I lead a team of scientists providing technical and application-based support to Carterra customers and ensure the efficient operation and successful execution of the Support department’s duties. Through a dual role, I provide expert knowledge of Carterra software, hardware, scientific applications, and experimental design to customers and ensuring timely resolution of issues. I use relevant support data to drive product development and improvement processes. Additionally, I conduct customer demonstrations at our Salt Lake City lab, contribute to application and protocol development. Oversee direct reports in the execution of activities and projects. Approve vacations and expenses for reports. Conduct performance reviews and collect yearly objectives.Responsibilities: Provide technical and application-based support to Carterra customers, address inquiries andtroubleshoot issues effectively. Manage a team of Technical Support Scientists – approve vacation time and expenses, conductPerformance Reviews and work with team on Objectives. Maintain an expert level knowledge of all Carterra Products, including but not limited to thecompany’s hardware, software, and biological applications. Utilize phone, video, email, and occasional on-site visits to communicate with customers andensure their needs are met. Document customer interactions, issues, and resolutions accurately in a CRM system. Lead data driven product improvement initiatives. Follow up with customers to ensure timely resolution of their concerns and maintain high levelsof customer satisfaction. Conduct customer demonstrations at the Salt Lake City lab to showcase the capabilities andfeatures of Carterra products. Contribute to the development of applications and protocols to optimize customer experienceand product performance. Occasional travel to customer sites to deliver training, offer on-site support, and providetechnical expertise.
