Seasoned Process Engineer with over 18 years of experience in the Chemicals and Energy industry, in areas ranging from onsite operations (14 years Operator Company) to engineering design (4 years EPC). Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas (P.E). I also hold the same designation (Pr. Eng.) in South Africa. I am a goal driven professional, with a track record of delivery and execution. Industry experience includes Plant Unit operations, design and troubleshooting in various Process technology areas that include: Ethylene Oxide / Ethylene Glycol, Spheripol-Polypropylene PO/MTBE, NGL fractionation, and various Syngas Technologies (Gas reforming, Coal gasification, Residue gasification). Strong understanding of Process equipment that includes Fractionation, Heat Exchangers, Prime movers (Pumps and compressors) I have extensive PSM review experience (i.e. HAZOP, SIL, PHA, and PSSR’s) and extensive project scoping, Unit operations troubleshooting, Operations support, plant modification projects under MOC procedures. I have extensive Process modelling experience using several software packages (HYSYS/ ASPEN PLUS/ PRO II/ VMGSIM). • A record of leading delivery of projects on time and within budget. Process Design Lead / Unit Engineer / PSSR team lead experience in all phases of a project life cycle (FEL 1-3, to commissioning and start up and performance monitoring). In addition to that, extensive operations support and troubleshooting on existing facilities and for brownfield projects. • Unit Operations Support: Ethylene Glycols, Gas Reforming, PO/MTBE, Fischer Tropsch Synthesis• Strong interpersonal/communication and organizational skills.
