ABOUT SEFANIT ISRAEL TEKLE

I have over 15 years of experience working in the non-profit sector- managing projects, providing logistic support, creating and executing mission critical fundraising campaigns and publications, leading branding initiatives and managing special events and budgets (both independently and as part of a team). I am a skilled communicator with experience writing and editing clear and compelling deliverables against tight timelines. I am known for my great work ethic, people skills, customer service and relationship building capabilities and have in the past worked closely with my peers, vendors, board members, donors, partners and other stakeholders to launch new programs and to meet fundraising goals. I am passionate about many causes, including education, racial equity and sustainability. I am beyond thrilled to have landed at the Nation\'s Cultural Center, The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, where my diverse skill set and love for the arts, education, and philanthropy come together to advance this mission-driven organization serving national and international communities through philanthropy.
