As a Hydrogeologist, my expertise revolves around field hydrogeology, with a primary focus on environmental monitoring and impact assessments linked to groundwater abstraction and management. My duties span the design and commissioning of boreholes, conducting water sampling, and evaluating the repercussions of diverse activities like landfills, construction developments, mining, and agriculture. I specialize in Modflow modeling to assess its impact on groundwater quality and resource availability. On the computational front, I actively engage in finite difference and finite element modeling, addressing groundwater flow, contaminant transport, and geostatistical simulation, particularly dealing with geological heterogeneity and hydrogeochemical facies. Beyond technical aspects, my role extends to project conceptualization, reporting, and ensuring timely client delivery. Serving as a senior researcher at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, my multidisciplinary skills in geostatistics, GIS, remote sensing, hydrogeology, and exploration geology contribute to addressing real-world challenges in natural resource management and urban planning. With a decade of experience, I\'ve previously undertaken projects like developing a GIS-based roadmap for Allahabad District, improving transportation efficiency, optimizing water supply at the IIT (ISM) campus, and studying the impact of river sedimentation on soil nutrient loss in agricultural lands. More recently, my work has delved into addressing water challenges in the Guinea region of South Africa and Yemen. My enduring passion lies in utilizing cutting-edge technology and data science to confront environmental and social challenges.
