About Sedar Gokbulut

I have been working as a software engineer since I have been in various companies working on various projects and gaining experience in different areas of the technology. Learning, achieving, growing, and having fun in doing so. Like most engineers, I\'m data-centric, methodical and very systematic. I\'d like to get all the details of the domain that I\'m going to work on and work as independently as I can. That also helps me come up with the right design. I learn the best when I do stuff. If there\'s something that I can discover myself, I prefer finding it out myself. It helps me get the whole picture much easier. I enjoy my profession a lot. It\'s fun and a very satisfying one. The thing that I like most is continuous learning and growth opportunity with a pace that you cannot find a match easily. My most recent interest and experience is in Observability Space and Distributed Data Storage and Processing Systems. I have been working on Metrics Backend team, building a large-scale metrics storage system, with ingestion, storage, indexing, query processing capabilities and more.
