ABOUT SHANA CURETON

As the Faculty Site Director of the Accelerated BSN Program in Indianapolis and Assistant Professor of Nursing at Marian University, I lead and support a team of faculty and staff in delivering high-quality nursing education to diverse and motivated students. I have over 20 years of experience in the health profession and 13 years of teaching experience, with a master\'s degree in nursing education and multiple honors in my field.I am passionate about improving the educational experience and outcomes of student nurses, especially in preparing them for the NCLEX exam. I have developed and implemented innovative and evidence-based curricula, assessments, and interventions that leverage instructional technology and foster student success. I have also served as a live review educator and NCLEX specialist for Ascend Learning, where I helped thousands of students across the country achieve their licensure goals. My mission is to empower the next generation of nurses with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to excel in their careers and make a positive impact on the health and well-being of their communities.
