I\'m a brand strategist and designer. At Nexa Tax, I lead brand and creative. We\'re a fintech for college athletes navigating NIL income, and the challenge has been making taxes feel like something athletes actually want to engage with — not another corporate financial product talking down to them. I shape the visual identity, the social and content strategy, the investor materials, and how the brand shows up in culture. I\'ve been there since pre-launch.Before Nexa I spent five years freelancing through college, mostly through a referral network — small startups, hospitality, music, brands that needed identity work and didn\'t have an in-house team. That\'s where I figured out the craft on live work, on real deadlines, while juggling school and a part-time job.My eye was shaped early by cinema, fashion, music — specifically SoundCloud-era cloud rap, high fashion — and an obsession with how humans think. What I took from all of it was a love of juxtaposition: the unexpected next to the expected, the analog next to the digital, the cultural next to the corporate. That\'s the angle I\'m always looking for in a brand.Outside of design I\'m a generalist by nature. I\'ll go down rabbit holes on Sir Francis Drake, mergers and acquisitions, defense systems, Chopin. Most of what ends up in my work started somewhere unrelated to design.Currently based in Connecticut, looking for brand and design roles in NYC.
