I am a Data Scientist with a background in astrophysics. For my latest project, I\'m analyzing set-piece strategies in soccer matches using event-by-event tracking data. Before that, I built a hierarchical classification model for news articles that allowed for fine-tuning \"You may like\" article recommendations.SkillsSoftware and Programming 1. SQLOn the non-technical side, I spent a great deal of my free time at the University of Pennsylvania as the Internal Outreach Chair for Penn First, a student-led group that engages in advocacy work on behalf of the First-Generation/Low-Income Community (FGLI) at Penn. Through my participation, I gained valuable skills in event planning, communication, leadership, and advocacy work that I hope to apply in the future as I continue on my career path. I also have the honor of being a member of the Sphinx Senior Honor Society, the oldest such group on campus, and the Cipactli Latinx Honor Society of which I was Chair my senior year.
