The Global Awareness through Hip Hop Culture Program is one of the nation\'s only UC approved, college preparatory Hip Hop Culture course for high school students offered during regular school hours. The program started in Los Angeles in 2007, has been offered at various school throughout Southern California, and is currently working towards expanding to other cities and states.
