Leading the MDA AURORA™ satellite platform architecture and development team, putting together the vision and roadmap to enable next-generation missions that drive the growth of MDA Space and connect the world. Guiding the team of product development managers, 150+ engineers and technical staff to deliver a complex product that consists of multiple systems, including primary structure, data handling, on-board flight software, guidance & navigation, propulsion, electrical power system and thermal.As product manager, Sébastien champions the deployment of innovative solutions that differentiate the MDA AURORA™ platform to meet ever growing market needs of satellite constellations. In this role, he guided teams through major design reviews for large constellation customers, balancing performance requirements, cost constraints, and manufacturing scalability necessary to support production runs on the order of hundreds of satellites.His work has been central to MDA Space securing the current major LEO constellation programs:Telesat Lightspeed with 198 satellites |$2.1B programGlobalstar C3MSS with 50+ satellites |$1B program Previous roles include- Executed as platform mechanical architect the development of MDA Space next-generation Earth observation satellite, MDA CHORUS™- Spacecraft AI & T engineer on the RADARSAT Constellation Mission, coordinated the successful delivery of one of the three RCM spacecraft up to launch day.
