vCISO Consultant | DevOps & InfoSec Leader | Engineer First | SpeakerI\'m an experienced InfoSec and Engineering leader with a track record of solving hard, cross-cutting challenges—like security—in fast-paced, complex environments. I build a vision, shape strategy, win hearts and budgets, and grow high-performing teams that deliver real, lasting impact.I have a Swiss army knife of skills spanning people leadership, product thinking, supplier management, program delivery, and organizational change. I’ve also worked hands-on across the entire technology stack—InfoSec, IT operations, infrastructure, and software engineering—enabling me to operate as both player and coach.Though I’m an engineer first, I’ve learned that the hardest problems usually live at layer 8, people. What sets me apart is my ability to quickly build internal networks, earn trust, and influence change—through transparency, measurable outcomes, and clear communication that resonates with both technical teams and business leadership. At ClearBank, I built and led the team recognized as Highly Commended at the 2023 Computing Awards for Best DevSecOps Implementation. I also competed in national cyber security competitions during university, coming joint 3rd in the Cyber Security Challenge UK 2013 series, competing against cyber potentials across the UK - and yes I\'m still banging on about it!
