ABOUT SEBASTIAN TACHECI

I am a Software Engineer, working on a FastAPI web application called ISDA Analytics (formerly known as Perun). The app is used by banks to benchmark their capital and help calculate derivative margins. It hosts multiple models under which banks upload files, receive immediate validation feedback, and analyze their submissions in comparison to other banks. I have experience with: Python, SQL (Postgres & SSMS), FastAPI, Flask, Django, SQLAlchemy, SQLite, Pytest+Unittest, Git, HTML & CSS, Pandas, Numpy, Selenium, and Beautiful Soup.• I started my career at PwC as a banking auditor, becoming a Chartered accountant in the process. • I transferred to a Data Analytics team where I full-time used Python and SQL to build internal-facing solutions in support of investment banking and retail banking audits. In particular, the solutions I built validated life cycles of lending products and assisted in valuing financial derivatives.• I then resigned to focus on further developing my software engineering skills (topics covered outlined in Experience section).• Currently, I work at ISDA as a Software Engineer.
