ABOUT SEBASTIAN KUKLA

The North America Digital Transformation team will be installing SAP S/4 from our existing SAP R/3 system and an end to end Supply Chain management system beginning with Sales Demand Planning all the way through Supply Planning and Order Promising into the plant with handovers directly in SAP S/4. To assist with this we are already using one AI Agent for training and accuracy for our Customer Service (CSRs) users and have another AI Agent for Sales and Finanacial analysis to assist in the SAP upgrade. My background in implementing the SAP R/3 system in North America in 2002 experience interacting with SAP at many levels including Payroll, HR and Supply Chain systems as part of my leadership roles made me the natural fit for this team.Career Skills:Artificial Intelligence Agents - We are deploying AI Agents developed together with Aitomatic (a founding member of the AI Alliance). I am a firm believer in upskilling our workforce by using these time-saving tools in a practical way. I have presented papers on Agentic AI at K1st World, The Industrial AI Conference and the MLOps Community \"AI in Production.\"Team Development - Led diverse teams from Sales Teams responsible for $300 million in revenue in the US and Canada with 98% sales forecasting accuracy and achieving budgets. Most recently I led a team across Canada, US and Mexico with over 300 people in my reporting line doing on site refractory construction services. Now I am leading a US, Canada and Mexico team for the Digital Transformation in North America.Senior Leadership Team - Member of the Sr. Leadership team reporting to the President of North America and directing the over 1,200 employees in North America since 2019. As part of this there is a close connection to the Vienna-based C-Level team for RHI Magnesita and the RHI Magnesita Board of Directors. Our team functions as a true team, not siloed in our areas. I sit on the Benefits Committee, Remuneration Comittee, led the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee and established the Safety Committee.M&A - Integration team member for 5 significant M&A events.Safety - Established the first formal Field Safety team for our on-site construction groups, sales and service technicians and marketing teams. This covered all employees outside of Operations and was eventually turned into a Senior Leadership Team position covering Operations and Field Safety.Supply Chain Management - Transportation, Warehousing, InventoryIndustries Covered - Steel, Aluminum, Copper, Cement and Lime, Contractor/Installer and Enterprise Software.
