About Sebas Barron

I am self motivated team player looking to advance myself and those around me. I have worked 2-3 years in a retail position at Walmart as a laborer getting some work experience for extra trading capital and to see how the retail sector functions. While working and studying finance and economics at Valparaiso University I have found an interest in trading stocks as well as doing business with others. I specialize in large cap trading and follow fundamentals plus macroeconomic and technical indicators on a daily basis to improve my business acumen to be a better business professional. I also am knowledgeable on options and forex. I hold a 3.6 GPA in school and am actively learning and networking with other business professionals to become versatile. I also am currently in the process of becoming bilingual. Being Mexican American I am highly driven to succeed in any and every environment. I regularly use programs like Tradingview, thinkorswim, and Webull to advance my understanding of trading, but I also am great at networking. I understand highly analytical topics but I am also a very charismatic person. While I have extended family that are known for being successful business professionals, my immediate family has little business expertise in the financial world but it\'s more reason for me to prove my competency. I\'m hungry to succeed and I know I can be a valuable asset to an organization.

   Summer job as well as part time job during college where I was able to connect with customers and understand business operations. Nearly everyday working I used Spanish to assist customers with products and or assistance. It was not the most glamourous job but it made me hungry to do well in school and improve my knowledge within the financial industry. It also allowed me to follow different sectors like retail with in the markets. I also connected with some of my coworkers who also traded stocks and during this time I explored many new softwares like Thinkorswim, TradingView and VectorVest which are research sites or trading applications designed to improve investors returns. During this time period of working I would discuss political events happening within markets with coworkers and share trading strategies and parameters of my indicators within Webull and thinkorswim. The job itself wasn\'t the most useful but a few of the people I spoke with helped me gain more insight into trading and financial history. The job also gave me some money to invest and improve my knowledge on how certain sectors perform during tough economic times.
