ABOUT SEBASTIAN JAMES
As a British Army veteran, I spent years maintaining the electronic systems that keep people alive and on target — navigation, thermal imaging, weapons targeting. That world teaches you two things fast: precision matters, and there\'s no room for things that don\'t perform. That obsession with performance followed me out of uniform. What food does to the body. What training does to the mind. What environment does to both. It took me from a BSc in Human Nutrition to the gym floor, into operations, and eventually into leading some of the most ambitious wellness projects in London and Dubai. At Third Space, I ran multi-million-pound refurbishments and flagship openings — learning what it actually takes to build something world-class. Dubai sharpened something else: operating in a market where expectations are extreme and margin for error is slim. Both experiences taught me the same thing: most people in wellness are great at the vision. Very few are great at the execution. I wanted to be both.That\'s what brought me to Paragon Studio — designing and building the world\'s most luxurious wellness spaces for superyachts, private residences, and five-star hospitality. We don\'t sell gym equipment. We create environments that belong in extraordinary spaces. Engineered for performance. Crafted like furniture. Specified like architecture.I\'m now completing an Executive MBA at Quantic — not because I needed more theory, but because I wanted the rigour to match the ambition. If you\'re building at the intersection of design, performance, and luxury — or investing in businesses that are — I\'d like to connect.
