Capturing moments of Truth, Beauty and Meaning! “I seek truth and beautyin the transparency of an autumn leaf,in the perfect form of a seashell on the beach,in the curve of a woman\'s back,in the texture of an ancient tree trunk,but also in the elusive forms of reality.” - Isabel AllendeMatt grew up in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA under the tutelage of his artist mother and engineer/cowboy father. Having no siblings, Matt spent most of his childhood roaming the hills of New Mexico with a wild assortment of animals, from dogs and horses to an African lioness. Together they searched and explored the world. Matt followed in dad’s footsteps to get educated and have a successful engineering career, but mom’s call of the creative remained ever present.Matt has been a photographer since the age of 9, learning to love the smell of dark room chemicals and the soft glow of dark room lights. Traveling, exploring, meeting and working with people have provided a wonderful excuse to take pictures. He is a member of professional photography associations and his work has been internationally selected and exhibited.
