About Sean Zentner

I have a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Indiana University\'s Kelley School of Business that I obtained in Spring of 2023. I have also obtained a Master of Science in Accounting with Data and Analytics (MSADA) at Indiana University in May 2024, and currently work as an Audit Staff at Ernst & Young since October 2024. I am currently pursuing a CPA license as well in order to enhance my knowledge of accounting and create better career opportunities for the future, which I have made significant progress towards by passing all four parts of the CPA Exam. I consider myself to be a very mathematical and logical-reasoning kind of individual, as I have always had an interest in and aptitude for quickly understanding and mastering math-related concepts. I have quickly become proficient with accounting through my experience in audit with RSM US as well as in my time at Ernst & Young where I have learned how to analyze financial statements and underlying transactions on a much deeper level. I consider myself a very good problem-solver who knows how to solve problems with step-by-step solutions, which is where I think my aptitude for an accounting role comes from. I have leadership capabilities as I helped lead a group in a school-wide case competition where our team placed in the top 10 out of over 200 teams in my junior year of college. I helped the group stay focused, organized priorities, and facilitated the completion of an 80-page report that received extremely high praise from our professors. I am also a resilient person, as I do not let any setback hold me back from my goals by making the necessary and timely adjustments to overcome challenges. I am motivated to have a substantial impact on any organization of which I may become a part of through my passion for learning, my attention to detail, and my strong desire to become a leader and subject matter expert in my field of study.
