I spent 5 years as a Managing Director with Ernst & Young\'s Venture Capital Group, 5 years at New York based private equity firm Spencer Trask and the last 14 years at TMU / Ryerson University teaching entrepreneurship and coaching founders at the seed venture fund. I co-founded five business ventures. The first at age 16. The last sold for $30M+. I have written four books on the topic of venture capital, entrepreneurship and pitching ideas. Including one bestseller and one textbook. When seeking the best in business, CBC recruited me as online host and industry advisor for the first five seasons of the hit show, Dragons\' Den.
