About Sean van Tol
I am a junior college student at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, studying Business Analytics with a concentration in Information Management. Complementing my major, I am also working towards a minor in Data Science. Beyond academia, my commitment to personal growth is evident in my engagement with extracurricular activities. I devote much of my time to the UTK Ambassador program, working hard to not only provide positive experiences for prospective students but grow my communication and interpersonal skills. Additionally, I am an active member of the Business Analytics Society, where I have the opportunity to collaborate with peers who share similar interests and make connections for our future careers. Looking ahead, my future goals surround advancing my education in Business Analytics and Information Management to apply these skills to a forward-thinking organization. I look forward to working with the Tennessee Valley Authority this summer as a Data Analytics Intern and learning more about Power Trading and data analysis. My internship with the TVA will provide valuable hands-on experience, allowing me to grow professionally.
