About Sean Torres
I am a Master of Finance Student at Case Western Reserve University. I have experience in financial modeling, financial analysis, Bloomberg, SQL, Python, customer service, and most Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. I was a 4-year starter on CWRU’s Varsity football team at inside linebacker. Through this incredibly valuable life experience, I have developed strong time management, coachability, resilience, teamwork, and leadership skills. I ended my career with 245 total tackles, good for 16th in program history. Most recently, I worked in a team over a 3-month timeframe to write a 10-page Equity Research report on TransDigm Group for the CFA Equity Research Challenge. Our team conductive detailed industry, business model & risk research, a discounted cash flow analysis, and a detailed 3-statement model to recommend a “buy” rating. We presented our findings at the local competition in a comprehensive presentation, resulting in a 1st place finish among 6 teams.
