About Sean Terry

As a seasoned urban planning professional, I possess 10+ years\' experience in urban planning and community development across multiple business frameworks: non-profit organizations, municipalities, public-sector agencies and private businesses; functioning in both traditional and non-traditional planning roles to improve the physical environment within communities and enhancing the quality of life for those who dwell within (them). During my early career development, much of my work focused on program development and implementation in support of municipalities, administering project management on RFQ/RFP’s; executing zoning and site plan review for pending development(s); and conducting building code inspection/enforcement for public and private spaces. Beyond functioning in traditional planning roles, my tangible responsibilities have also included research & development and program administration experience that spans several complementary areas of the built environment, including: waste diversion and resource management; energy efficiency; LEED certifications; and U.S. EPA Brownfields Management.In November 2017, I joined the Collier Engineering team as a Planner - Project Manager, Design and Survey Division. In this role, I leverage government & quasi-government administrative experiences to provide project management guidance across Collier’s primary areas of expertise (planning, design, and management of construction projects in the fields of transportation, site/civil design, construction management, storm water infrastructure, surveying, and landscape architecture).
