ABOUT SEAN SCUDERI

As Partner and Vice Chair in Tarter Krinsky & Drogin LLP\'s Construction Group, I provide general counseling services to owners, developers, not-for-profit entities, contractors, and design professionals relating to construction and renovation projects. My services include drafting and negotiating construction agreements, providing legal guidance throughout construction projects, and representing clients in legal disputes, litigation, arbitration and mediation. I regularly represent clients in claims involving delays, breaches of contract, construction and design defects, property damages, mechanic\'s liens, and fraud. I also have extensive experience in representing clients in neighboring construction matters and complying with Building Code requirements. I assist both developers and neighboring property owners in negotiating license agreements to dictate terms of access needed to monitor and protect the neighboring property during construction. in the event neighbors are unable to reach an agreement, I also prosecute and defend RPAPL 881 proceedings to compel access to neighboring properties in furtherance of construction. I am admitted in New York, Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia. In addition to these jurisdictions, I have experience handling transactions and disputes across the country, including in Massachusetts, Florida, California, South Carolina, Iowa, Nebraska, and Texas.
