Dr. Sean Raj, MD, MBA, is the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Innovation Officer of SimonMed Imaging, one of the nation’s largest outpatient medical imaging providers. In this dual role, he leads both the clinical organization and the innovation agenda for SimonMed’s nationwide network of 175+ centers—advancing quality initiatives, protocol standardization, physician engagement, and enterprise-wide technology integration.Nationally recognized as a leader in AI-enabled healthcare, precision diagnostics, and care delivery transformation at scale, Dr. Raj has spearheaded the development of first-in-class programs such as Mammogram+ and Mammogram+Heart, redefining breast and cardiovascular screening across the U.S. He also directs the expansion of simonONE, SimonMed’s whole-body MRI program, bringing advanced preventive imaging to new markets.His work has helped guide SimonMed’s direction, aligning clinical innovation with business impact, and supporting the CEO in executing the company’s broader strategic vision. He has also worked closely with SimonMed’s executive leadership and board of directors on enterprise strategy and national service-line development—ensuring growth is paired with both clinical excellence and long-term value creation.Dr. Raj is passionate about transforming healthcare through the integration of AI, personal risk modeling, and generative technologies to bring precision medicine to scale.
