   Track local, state, and federal benefits for firefighter line of duty deaths (LODD), including all public and nonprofit organizations who provide support to families after a LODD.Advocate for and follow legislation and regulations impacting benefits to the families of fallen firefighters and firefighter health and safety initiatives. Support the Foundation’s efforts to assist states and territories to develop and strengthen laws related to benefits for families of fallen firefighters and firefighter health and safety. Brief the Executive Director and senior staff on local, state, and federal legislation and regulatory activities related to benefits for families of fallen firefighters. Conduct outreach to existing and potential partners and their legislative/government affairs teams.
