About Sean Morgan
I moved from Ireland to the U.S. in 2012 with two suitcases, a big appetite for opportunity, and a quiet belief that if I worked hard enough, I could build a life that felt bigger than the one I left behind.(I also thought there might be a professional soccer career in there somewhere.)Duluth, Minnesota ended up being the place where everything clicked. I attended the College of St. Scholastica, played four years of soccer, and graduated in 2016 with a degree in Communications and Marketing. That time shaped more than my résumé. It taught me how to show up consistently, how to compete, and how to be a great teammate — lessons I still lean on every day.Today, I’m the Director of Operations at Ad Advance, and this is a role I’m genuinely proud of. My path here started with hands-on work across digital marketing — SEO, paid search, and social — before moving deeper into Amazon advertising and Amazon DSP. Over time, I realized I’m at my best when I’m building systems, supporting people, and turning complexity into clarity. In my current role, I help ensure our teams and processes are set up to deliver scalable, high-quality work for eCommerce brands — aligning strategy, execution, reporting, and continuous improvement so performance stays consistent as we grow.Soccer has always been the thread that runs through all of it. I’m the Director of Coaching for Gitchi Gummi Soccer Club, and I previously served as Head Coach of Duluth FC (NPSL). I’m also a seasonal Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach at the College of St. Scholastica — my alma mater — and I just completed my 10th season coaching there. Coaching has had a huge impact on how I lead: focus on fundamentals, build confidence, set a standard, and help people develop into the best version of themselves.Outside of work and the field, life is family-centered. I love golfing (I’m in two leagues), traveling with my wife, and watching our two boys (ages 4 and 2) grow up. We’ve already visited five countries with the kids, and we’re always planning the next adventure. If you’re building something, scaling something, or trying to make the complicated feel manageable — chances are we’ll have plenty to talk about.
