About Sean Melnick
Sean is a healthcare technology executive with over two decades of experience and a proven track record of growing organizations. He has worked in seed-round, VC- and PE-backed companies, publicly traded organizations, and has contributed to multiple successful mergers, acquisitions, and IPOs. Sean began his healthcare journey studying physical therapy, building a strong foundation of clinical knowledge and a firmly ingrained mentality of always putting the patient first. Drawn to emerging technologies and the future of healthcare innovation, he earned an MBA from Northeastern University before starting his career in medical devices. As a spine implant representative in the OR, and later progressing into sales management, he supported over orthopedic spine and neurosurgery procedures, gaining a front-row perspective on how technology can directly improve patient care. More recently, his focus has been on digital health, including value-based care, surgical services, enterprise SaaS, AI, ML, and advanced analytics. Known for his hands-on approach and talent for building strong teams, Sean is passionate about solving complex problems, driving meaningful change, and delivering value for patients and providers. Outside of work, he enjoys playing, coaching, and cheering on his three children in lacrosse, cooking for family and friends, and spending time outdoors hiking, golfing, or chilling at the beach with a good history book.
