o Direct and lead the overall strategic sales plan for Urban One Philadelphia’s four radio stations across local, national, and digital sales to grow market share and maximize revenue. o Monitor overall sales activity, forecast future revenue, strategically manage inventory, and maintain an acute understanding of market-wide shifts to adjust accordingly. o Meet or exceed revenue goals across all platforms; broadcast, events, and digital. o Lead the overall Sales Department comprised of a General Sales Manager, Local Sales Manager, Integrated Marketing Manager, Local Account Executives, National Account Executives, National Sales Coordinator/Assistant and Local Sales Coordinator/Assistant to achieve new revenue highs. o Develop and establish a work environment that fosters continual training, development of talent, and sales revenue achievement in alignment with organizational goals. o Hire, coach, train, counsel and motivate new sales professionals and sales staff to achieve and thrive within an ever-changing, omni-channel media environment. o Conduct weekly sales forums to share expertise and initiate teambuilding exercises. o Collaborate and maintain strong relationships with sales manager(s), traffic, business department, human resources, programming, and marketing to keep sales support positive and efficient. o Coordinate sales activities, resources, inventory, and marketing efforts around specified station events. o Accompany Sales Managers and Account Executives on local direct and/or agency facing meetings and presentations for in-field coaching and individualized development. o Maintain strong relationships and visibility with political, business, and community-based stakeholders.
