ABOUT SEAN HEMBRICK

I am a first-generation higher education Ph.D. student who loves the challenge of analyzing and providing solutions to problems spanning across an array of higher educational issues, both in the disciplinary and social realms. As an avid researcher, I gather information from various sources including oral, written, and artistic content seeking to provide an equitable balance in education. Education is at the forefront of all I do. I\'m driven and passionate about higher education work. Growing up in New York City, many young men and women aren\'t granted educational opportunities. It is my goal to aspire those interested in acquiring a degree and grow professionally.My experience spans over multiple educational areas. From mentoring, tutoring, and advising; I have worked ensuring high school and college students coming from underrepresented backgrounds are supported leading in increased retention and timely graduation.
