   Launched Complex News as part of a 4-person team at the start of 2014, working to prioritize video within Complex’s long form strategy. Complex News has since grown into a 14 person department accumulating over 3 million monthly views.Responsibilities- Producing 10+ short form daily videos, ranging from celebrity interviews, artist profiles, current events, and on-location news coverage- Responding in real-time to trending interests and reactive topics within Complex.com, furthering the conversation with relevant video content- Enriching Complex editorial with long form video (10-15 minutes), averaging four pieces per month- Possessing an up-to-date and ever-evolving understanding of youth culture and trends within the internet media landscape- Harboring the relationships necessary to facilitate and mobilize freelance video crews, allowing us to quickly cover breaking news across the U.S- Developing concise written briefs conveying ideas for potential video series representative of the Complex brand and that of potential media sponsors- Live event coverage with same day turnaround and on-site team management.
