About Sean F.
is how I found my passion for computers and technology.I was playing some artillery game on a computer against some other classmate that was written in BASIC. I read this BASIC manual and there was a LIST command. I saw a line BULLETS=3 and changed that to I typed RUN and then completely annihilated my classmate. That was awesome!I was amazed at how some code could make a computer do something. That “I” could write some code and make a computer do something. I still feel that same sense of excitement today.Because I’m curious, I’ve proceeded to spent countless amounts of time just learning and honing my technical skills across many software and hardware technical disciplines. Then one of my mentors gave me some feedback “Sean, you are a good engineer. If you want to be a great engineer, make 10 others like you.”That is how I decided to pursue technology leadership roles.I bring my same enthusiasm for technology and I apply that towards people to help them be the best at whatever they are trying to achieve. This is reflected in the feedback I’ve received.The outcome is I am able to get groups of people to believe and achieve the impossible. I’ve had engineers say I do some sort of “Jedi mind trick” on them.
