I work as a paramedic in a rural, 911 system in North Texas. My duties primarily involve providing advanced-level patient care and operating emergency vehicles. I also train new employees and instruct EMS students during their clinical rotations. I am currently a member of the local hospital\'s \"EMS Partnership Committee\" that is tasked with bridging communication gaps and improving working relationships between EMS providers and hospital staff. In addition to my roles as a paramedic and educator, I also work part-time as an emergency medical dispatcher.
