About Sean Doerr
After more than a decade exploring photography and Detroit’s architectural history through research, lectures, and publications, I pivoted into public service, driven by a desire to contribute meaningfully to the community. With a recent Master’s in Public Administration, I bring a blend of creative perspective, analytical thinking, and dedication to making an impact in government and civic initiatives in Detroit and beyond.Outside of my day job, I am a semi-professional patient—advocating for those with Pompe Disease, serving on multiple patient boards, and sharing my experiences through public speaking. I am passionate about motivational speaking, inspiring others through stories of resilience, advocacy, and personal growth.
