Leading BBC CAPE [Creating a Positive Environment], an initiative exploring the benefits of approaching inclusive design from a cognitive perspective, by considering concepts covering Neurodiversity and other cognitive conditions, for employment and content.I am responsible for generating new and innovative concepts and content, working with partners from within the BBC and external organisations, exploring and designing new processes to support improved working experiences - including Flexible/Hybrid working, Learning & Development and Workplace Culture. I also design & run workshops and collaborative sessions and present at events and conferences about BBC Cape and our work construing creativity.

As Senior UX Principal, I shape and deliver the BBC’s ambitions for Inclusive Design and Accessibility. I am responsible for defining the strategy to design and develop market leading products and services, building productive partnerships & engaging with industry through conferences, panels, and standards boards to influence and inform the agenda for Inclusive Design.Before moving into UX & D, I had built a 20yr career as a qualified Chartered Accountant, with significant demonstrable experience in senior finance leadership roles across many industry sectors including Broadcast Media, Service and Manufacturing.Outside of work, I currently stay out of trouble by training for and running single and multi-stage ultramarathons.
