About Sean Bair
Sean Bair is a public safety innovator, entrepreneur, and academic with over 25 years of experience in AI, analytics, and crime prediction. He holds an MBA from the University of Denver\'s Daniels College of Business and a BS in Justice Studies/Computer Science from Arizona State University.Sean serves as CEO of SWORN.ai, a company using artificial intelligence to improve the readiness and resilience of first responders. By integrating biometric, psychological, and operational data, SWORN delivers personalized, proactive wellness insights, helping police agencies reduce burnout, retain talent, and operate more effectively.Sean began his career as a crime analyst and police officer and went on to found BAIR Analytics, where he developed one of the first predictive policing platforms powered by artificial intelligence. The flagship product, ATAC Workstation, combined behavioral analysis, temporal patterns, and spatial forecasting to identify emerging crime trends and link cases. It is in use at thousands of law enforcement agencies, the Department of Defense, and major retailers like Walmart and Macy\'s. BAIR Analytics was acquired by LexisNexis in 2015.He later served as CEO of GameSafe.ai, which uses AI to monitor children\'s games like Minecraft, Fortnite, and Roblox, giving parents real-time alerts about inappropriate content and potential predator interactions. Sean also founded Nouri.ai, an AI-powered relationship platform for events and networking, which was acquired in 2025.Beyond entrepreneurship, Sean is a Professor of Strategy & Economics at BYU\'s Marriott School of Business. He is the author of \"Business is Personal: Strategies for Building Meaningful Relationships in Business & Life\" and \"A.I. in Policing: The Rise of A.I. in the Fight Against Crime\"—which explores how artificial intelligence is reshaping investigations, agency culture, and decision-making on the front lines. He is also co-author of \"Tactical Crime Analysis: Research & Investigation.\"Sean has received multiple awards for his contributions, including the IACA Member\'s Award for \"Outstanding Contribution in the Field of Crime Analysis\" and recognition in the \"International Who\'s Who of Information Technology.\" He\'s passionate about building tech that serves and protects people. Outside of work, he loves mentoring startups, playing hockey, and going for drives in the mountains.
