ABOUT SEAN ANAYAH
Sean Anayah is a scientist with experience coordinating and delivering projects throughout California. His primary interests include environmental hazard and risk assessments for infrastructure projects, sustainable project design, environmental impact minimization and mitigation, environmental compliance, sustainable leadership, and innovative solutions for renewable energy expansion. Sean attended Cal Poly SLO for his Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences, and attended the University of Copenhagen and the University of Life Sciences - Vienna for graduate school in Environmental Science and Climate Change, during which his research on the pyrolysis of biomass for energy recovery was published in the International Journal of Renewable Energy. Currently, Sean is working at the California Energy Commission as an energy specialist in the Energy Research and Development Division managing grant funding for energy storage, microgrid, and long duration energy storage projects.
