ABOUT SEAN TOELLNER

While perusing a Mechanical Engineering degree at Mississippi State University I worked with Ndustrial Solutions in Zachary, Louisiana as an engineering intern using precision measuring tools, creating 2D and 3D CAD models for part fabrication and developing standardization tools to increase production quality and efficiency. I then completed a Co-op rotation with Kohler engines in Hattiesburg, MS. Here I worked with other engineers to develop more efficient production procedures, designed parts in SolidWorks for use on the assembly line, updated potential failure modes documents, and aided in installing a new assembly line into the plant. After completion of my degree in 2022 I decided to enlist in the Army as a Combat Engineer. I have been in the Army for over 4 years now and have gained a lot of experience in a multitude of different situations from squad leadership, to demolition calculations, to operation planning and execution. Some of the courses I have completed are Airborne School, Sapper School, and Air Assault School, as well as earning my Expert Solider Badge. I finished my active duty service in October of \'25 and now am a member of the Texas National Guard. While finishing my Army active duty contract, I interned with Heads Up Technologies as a Mechanical Engineer Intern. I was then was hired on full time in October of \'25 as a Mechanical Engineer. I currently work on the Production Engineering team with the goal of enhancing the quality and production efficiency of our products through more clear work instructions, proper tooling implementation and design of fixtures and test equipment.
