As the Managing Partner of our Houston, Texas office; I handle a wide variety of military law matters and Texas based litigation cases. I have more than ten years experience as an experienced litigator in private practice handling a wide variety of cases including Criminal Defense matters and all aspects of Military and Employment Law. I appear in numerous federal and state courts throughout Texas, Colorado, New York and Washington DC and across the rest of the United States in USERRA matters. I also assist in the representation of our nation\'s Veterans and active service members in all areas of military law. I handle cases involving Civilian Criminal Defense and Military Courts Martial trials, security clearance hearings, appeals to Boards for Correction of Military Records and Discharge Review Boards, retirement benefits, DFAS debt related matters, VA disability compensation, evaluation report appeals, administrative separations, ROTC disenrollments, Physical Disability Evaluations, criminal and administrative investigations, and non-judicial punishment representation. I represent service members during security clearance hearings before the Defense Office of Hearing and Appeals (DOHA). I have recently obtained favorable dispositions at Administrative Separation Boards, ROTC hearings, and Formal Physical Evaluation Boards. I have assisted my clients in drafting sworn declarations, rebuttals, matters of mitigation and Special Selection Board requests. I have obtained several litigated acquittals in contested courts-martial cases. I am admitted to practice law in both New York and Texas. I am also licensed to practice law in the Federal Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas. I am admitted in the Federal District Court of Colorado and before the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals based in New Orleans; the Army Court of Criminal Appeals in Virginia and the Navy-Marine Corps Court of Criminal Appeals.
