Sean is a Partner in Strategy & focussed on enterprise-wide transformation and leads the technology strategy practice within the firm. Focussed primarily on transactions and global corporate transformation, including enterprise technology strategy and major IT enablement projects using ERP and Cloud based applications in both settings. In the transaction related transformation (deals related services) Seans experience includes M&A and IPO integration. In both M&A and IPO the work has included significant carve out ‘stand-ups’ in a number of industries. Typically, Sean works with the carve out executive and investor teams to develop and prioritise the value roadmap, design the enabling target operating model and capability framework, stand up the separation transformation programme and then manage the delivery of the newco environment. This work has also included day 1 preparation and TSA exit planning and execution and the definition and development of board reporting and investor value assurance underpinned by the information and insight framework and platforms to guide rapid valuation growth. Sean has worked on a number of due diligence (buy side) projects supporting buyers in their preparation for management team sessions including diligence Q & As to inform valuation drivers for the deal teams. In corporate transformation, Sean has worked on global transformation programmes for many of the major companies across the world. In this domain Sean has worked with clients on the design of new target operating models, developed enterprise technology strategy to address various business issues including cost take out, corporate recovery, new product / market launches and regulatory changes. A significant amount of this work has included the design and implementation of new technologies including the major ERP solutions, shared services technologies and Insight platforms including leveraging AI and machine learning technologies.
