Stradling represented the lead defendant in a nine defendant white collar criminal defense case where the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California alleged a $45 million Medicare fraud conspiracy- Secured a dismissal with prejudice in a lawsuit against the former Presiding Judge of the Mendocino County Superior Court in federal court in the Northern District of California- Defeated a motion for a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction against three employees of Caliber Home Loans, Inc- Represented a private equity firm and a subsidiary, who took out buyer-side rep and warranty insurance when they acquired a controlling interest in an aerospace manufacturer. Upon discovering the breach of seller reps and warranties, successfully made a claim for the policy limits after the underwriters initially denied coverage.
