About Sean Terry
Dr. Terry has worked as full professor, director of the Drury University Environmental Program, and National Geographic Society state director. He now serves as a legal, environmental, and education consultant. Born in San Diego the son of traveling night-club musicians, Dr. Terry\'s childhood was filled with unique life experiences in nature. This led to the study of people, places, and the environment. Today, Dr. Terry has built his love of environment into consulting, and public service projects. His field classes have studied water quality in the Ozarks, helped with Marine Debris beach clean up efforts in Hawaii, and designed ecology projects in Greece. Dr. Terry\'s interest in student success led to research on how to best prepare young people for college, graduate school, and the workplace. This work produced the \"Unwritten Rules\" book. He now speaks and gives workshops on this subject to help people achieve their academic and professional goals.
