ABOUT SEAN SCURAS
I am a biological process engineer with over 41 years of experience in the wastewater field including as an operations specialist for a large utility, as an academic, and as a consultant. I have experience in process modeling, design, research, and operation. As a former licensed operator, my focus is on troubleshooting, plant evaluation, and optimization of activated sludge processes (including nutrient removal). But I\'ve also been deeply involved in design of many biological processes for BNR. I am recently retired but will continue to do technical work on a part-time basis. I\'m also an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences at Clemson University.
